Well Visits

Now that we have transitioned to a new electronic health record, we have the schedule open for a full year. Please call 910-763-2476 to schedule your child's next wellness visit. The new system will also be sending texts and emails to remind you when your child is due for a well visit.
Regular well child visits are one of the most important things you can do to keep your child healthy. Well child visits provide you with the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child's health. Summer is a great time to schedule your child's well visit.
The Wilmington and Hampstead offices will be closed on Monday, May 26th. The Wilmington office will be open for walk-in visits on Saturday, May 24th from 8-10 am. Thank you for choosing Carolina Pediatrics to provide care for your child. We are currently in the process of switching electronic medical record systems so that we can better and more efficiently serve our patients. The official shift to our new system will occur on April 7, 2025. In order to facilitate a smooth transition, we will be closed Saturday April 5th, and our typical weekend sick clinic will be covered by Seaside Pediatrics. As a part of this transition we will also be moving to a new electronic system for patient communication, appointment reminders, and patient portal. As a result some forms or practice policies may need to be updated, so please be on the lookout for any new communications from Carolina Pediatrics requesting action after the transition occurs. On February 20, 2025, the Wilmington and Hampstead offices will open at 10 am.
Due to continued icy road conditions, we have decided to close both offices Thursday, January 23, 2025. We are planning to open the Wilmington and Hampstead offices at 10 am on Friday, January 24, 2025.
The Wilmington and Hampstead offices of Carolina Pediatrics will be closed on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. If weather permits, we will reopen on Thursday, January 23, 2025, for normal business hours.

Flu vaccine is now available in the Wilmington and Hampstead offices. If you are already scheduled for a visit, you can receive the flu vaccine while you are in the office. If you are not due for a visit, we have flu vaccine clinics scheduled in both offices. Please call to make an appointment. Flu vaccine is recommended for all children 6 months and older. The Wilmington and Hampstead offices will be closed Saturday 8/31/2024 – Monday 9/2/2024. Seaside Pediatrics will be open on Saturday morning 8:00 am – 10:00 am (8/31/2024).
