Electronic Medical Record Transition

Thank you for choosing Carolina Pediatrics to provide care for your child. We are currently in the process of switching electronic medical record systems so that we can better and more efficiently serve our patients. The official shift to our new system will occur on April 7, 2025. In order to facilitate a smooth transition, we will be closed Saturday April 5th, and our typical weekend sick clinic will be covered by Seaside Pediatrics.
As a part of this transition we will also be moving to a new electronic system for patient communication, appointment reminders, and patient portal. As a result some forms or practice policies may need to be updated, so please be on the lookout for any new communications from Carolina Pediatrics requesting action after the transition occurs.

Regular well child visits are one of the most important things you can do to keep your child healthy. Well child visits provide you with the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child's health. Summer is a great time to schedule your child's well visit. Please call (910) 763-2476 or send a portal request to schedule a well visit.
We are pleased to announce that our Wilmington office is expanding its Saturday hours. Walk-in sick visits are now available Saturday morning from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Additionally, during the summer months, we are offering well-visit appointments on Saturday mornings in Wilmington. These visits are by appointment only. If you would like to schedule a well visit, please call our office or send a message through the patient portal.
The Wilmington and Hampstead offices will be closed on Saturday, May 23, 2026 and Monday, May 25, 2026. Seaside Pediatrics will be covering for the weekend and will have office hours on the morning of Saturday, May 23, 2026. The office number for Seaside Pediatrics is 910-452-1999.
We now have online self-scheduling available for same day sick appointments in the Wilmington office. Please use the "SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT" button above to learn more. We will continue to have walk-in sick visits at the Wilmington office on Saturday mornings.
We will be closing the Wilmington and Hampstead offices at 11:00 am on Friday, April 3rd. You may still call our afterhours nurse triage line by dialing 910-763-2476 for Wilmington or 910-777-2013 for Hampstead. We will reopen on Saturday in Wilmington for regular walk-in sick appointments from 8:00 am- 11:00 am. We will resume our usual hours on Monday, April 6th for Wilmington and Hampstead.

The Wilmington and Hampstead offices will open at 10 am on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
The Wilmington and Hampstead locations will be closed on Monday, February 2, 2026. We hope to resume normal business hours on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, once both offices have been assessed to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
